Thank you for your interest in our Paul Reed Smith Pre-Factory 1994 CE-24 Maple Top in Vintage Orange!!!  This guitar is in excellent condition.  It has seen very little play time and has been kept securely in its original factory case, in a smoke-free, environmentally-controlled room.

PRS fans agree that the pre-factory CE-24 guitars are some of the finest playing and sounding guitars ever made - and certainly the finest guitars PRS has ever made.  We wholeheartedly agree and that's why we own several of them.  In our opinion, the PRS pre-factory CE-24 is the proverbial desert island guitar - if you could own just one, a PRS pre-factory CE-24 would be that guitar!

This pre-factory CE-24 Maple top was hand-made by the PRS craftsmen in early 1994.  It has the sought-after features that pre-factory CE-24's are noted for - small neck heel, alder body, maple top, wide-thin neck, HFS and Vintage Bass pickups, a killer action, and gobs of tone.  The maple top is finished in Vintage Orange and has elements of quilt and flame.  The photos really don't do it justice.

During its 18-year life, this guitar has seen little play time and is in better condition than some new guitars hanging on guitar shop walls.  Close examination will reveal minor signs of use, none of which could be captured by the camera.  The guitar has been expertly setup for 10's, has an incredible action, and sounds superb.  The volume & tone pots are quiet and the 5-position pickup selector works flawlessly.  The guitar comes complete with tremolo bar, truss rod wrench, saddle wrench, case key, and original factory case - also in excellent condition.

We are only selling this guitar because we have to thin the herd.  This is, hands-down, one of the best playing and sounding pre-factory CE-24's we own.  It was a difficult decision to put it up for auction.

This PRS pre-factory CE-24 Maple Top promises to be a unique, versatile, great playing, and excellent sounding addition to any guitarist's collection.
