Here is a very special guitar - a Paul Reed Smith SC-J Thinline, in PRS Vintage Natural finish, with Bigsby!
This SC-J Thinline is in like new condition. The guitar has seen very little play, has been has been well-maintained, and kept in its original factory case, in a smoke-free guitar room.
This PRS SC-J Thinline is the last of six PRS SC-J Thinline guitars we have owned. All six were fabulous; however, this one was our top pick out of all of them! The action and tone of this guitar is partiucarly sweet, earning it the distintion as the pick of the litter. I sure hate selling it, but we're trying to raise money for a big project.
Historically, the SC-J Thinline was only available from Paul Reed Smith through their build-to-order, Private Stock program. Such a guitar typically cost well over $15,000.
However, in 2008, PRS built a special run of SC-J Thinline guitars, limited to a total world distribution of only 300 guitars. These guitars had a retail price of $8,000. While certainly not cheap, the price definitely reflected the "get-what-you-pay-for" quality of a such a PRS limited production guitar.
If you have not played a PRS SC-J Thinline, you are in for a real treat! The playability, tone, and balance of the instrument are incredible!
The Bigsby is an especially wonderful addition to the SC-J. It noticeably adds tone and sustain to the instrument, beyond those SC-J models with the fixed tailpiece. Even if you don't normally play a vibrato, you will very much appreciate the tone and sustain provided by the Bigsby.

I have owned and played a lot of guitars over the past 40+ years - including some very expensive, one-of-a-kind guitars. Without a doubt, the PRS SC-J Thinline with Bigsby is among the finest of them all and is my all-time favorite hollowbody electric.
