Here's a classic beauty - a National Reso-Phonic Style "O"
Nickel-Plated Brass Body!!!
To quote National Reso-Phonic:
"Our flagship model, the Style O recreates the look and feel of the original 1930's single resonator guitars. This brass bodied instrument is polished to a mirror-like shine, nickel plated, and finally etched with the distinctive Hawaiian palm tree design. The maple neck is finished in a traditional sunburst. An ivoroid bound ebony fretboard and vintage-style engraved tuners complete the look of this timeless classic."
This Style "O" is in great shape. The neck, ebony fretboard, frets, headstock, and tuners are pristine, with no fret wear.
The nickel-plated brass body shows some signs of use, with small patches of slight discoloration and some very tiny dark spots. More than likely, they can be polished-out with the right polishing compound and some elbow grease.
The above photos (from National Reso-Phonic) show the Hawaiian motif etching on the Style "O". (I tried to capture it in my photos, but photographing a nickel-plated guitar is a real challenge!)
The neck, ebony fretboard, frets, headstock, and tuners are pristine, with no fret wear. The action is low and easy to play - a real bonus on a resonator guitar!
We just installed a fresh set of Martin Bluegrass Resonator, nickel-wound, 16-56 strings; so, right out of the box, you'll be ready to let this beauty sing!
The hardshell case is in great condition with some signs of use, including
small nicks and scuffs.
This National Reso-Phonic Style "O" is a classic and beautiful instrument - a bluegrass, folk, alternative, and fingerstyle player's delight.
It will be a fabulous and unique addition to your guitar collection!
