Thank you for your interest in our Paul Reed Smith Mira!!! This guitar and its factory case are in excellent condition. The guitar has seen almost zero play time and the only thing preventing it from being like-new is a small ding near the input jack. The guitar has been kept securely in its factory case, in a smoke-free, environmentally-controlled room.
This particular Mira is rare as it features the gorgeous, PRS abalone SOLID bird inlays. Not long after PRS started making the Mira, they began making their guitars with the less desirable hollow bird inlays. Consequently, few Mira guitars were made with the solid bird inlays. In addition to the solid bird inlays, this Mira features the Vintage Cherry finish; solid mahogany body & neck; Indian rosewood fingerboard; 25" scale; wide-thin neck; 3-position pickup selector; and coil tap switch, enabling the pickups to be switched between humbucker and single-coil. The guitar comes complete with factory case, warranty card, instructions, truss rod & saddle wrenches, hang tag, and PRS sticker.
With it's light weight, excellent balance, and versatile sound, the Mira is an outstanding choice for playing live, as well as in the studio. According to my postal scale, this guitar weighs just under 7 pounds, which makes it perfect for the stage. In fact, this guitar was kept as a backup to the Mira I use for live performing. My primary Mira has been reliably rock'in for the past four years, so this guitar has just sat in its case. It's time to set it free!
