The Martin D-28CWB Clarence White Brazilian Rosewood Guitar is one of Martin's premier Limited Editions. A total of only 150 D-28CWB guitars were produced between 2002 - 2004. Today, most of these guitars are firmly in the hands of collectors. That makes this a rare guitar, indeed! The D-28CWB is designed after Clarence White's 1935 D-28 and features a dreadnought, 14-fret body style; solid Brazilian rosewood back and sides; solid Adirondack spruce top; ebony fingerboard and bridge; bound body and fingerboard; Waverly tuners; and, of course, the classic Clarence White large round soundhole. This Martin D-28CWB is in excellent condition. It has exceptional, book-matched Brazilian rosewood back & sides and nicely-figured Adirondack top. I rate this guitar a 9.8 out of 10. Signs of use are insignificant and very difficult to capture with a camera. There is slight wear on a few frets, which does not affect playability (doesn't show in the photos). On the treble-side, lower bout, there is a very thin 3/4" scratch in the finish that does not penetrate into the wood.
