Here is a really sweet guitar - a Fender American Vintage '65 Jaguar, in the gorgeous Candy Apple Red Lacquer Finish!!!
This American Vintage '65 Jaguar is in excellent condition, with very minor signs of use. This guitar has been set-up and fine-tuned by long-time, professional luthier Dale Cress, of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Especially nice is Dale's "EZ Access Truss Rod Adjust Mod" that eliminates the need to remove the strings and neck to adjust the truss rod! Using the included 90 degree truss rod adjustment screwdriver, adjustments can be made very quickly and precisely. Not only is the mod extraordinarily effective, it looks great, too!
The American Vintage '65 Jaguar is Fender's flagship guitar in the Jaguar series. The guitar is built in the USA, using the original tooling and is based on actual, iconic 1965 models that were tracked-down by Fender.
The guitar's extremely comfortable, mid-60s "C"-shaped neck; bound rosewood fretboard; specially-voiced, American Vintage '65 pickups; and thin lacquer finish make the American Vintage '65 Jaguar one of the nicest playing and sounding guitars in the Fender lineup.

This guitar uniquely features the Dale Cress "EZ Access Truss Rod Adjust Mod"; which, as explained below, is a major improvement to this already fabulous guitar.
Vintage Fenders are renown for playing and sounding great; however, they require the strings and neck to be removed, in order to adjust the neck truss rod. Talk about a major pain! Being an original-era model guitar, the American Vintage '65 Jaguar comes from the factory with this same characteristic.
The "EZ Access Truss Rod Adjust Mod" solves all that, by providing a compound-radius relief cut in the pickguard and top, at the base of the neck. The mod not only provides direct access to the truss rod adjustment screw, it looks great, too!

The included 90 Degree Truss Rod Adjustment Screwdriver has an angled flat-blade on one end and a straight flat-blade on the other. This makes it very easy to position the screwdriver in the truss rod adjustment screw slots.
The American Vintage '65 Jaguar has a '60s-correct, bound, "Round-Lam" Rosewood Fretboard. This classic Fender design element is still widely used today on many contemporary and vintage-style instruments.
This American Vintage '65 Jaguar is in excellent condition, with very minor signs of use. Notably, there is a small indentation in the body, at the corner of the rear, lower, bottom bout (seen above, in the middle of the photo. This imperfection came from the factory this way, as the indentation is filled with the factory lacquer finish. In addition, the sides of the headstock have small black marks in the finish, from hanging in a guitar stand - as is common with lacquer finishes.
In true vintage form, the American Vintage '65 Jaguar comes with "a fascinating wealth of in-case reproduction extras and accessories, such as straps, cables, polishing cloths, wiring kits, bridge covers, owner’s manuals and more" (to quote Fender). Take a look at the photo above and you'll see that this is a major understatement! The amount of case candy that comes with this guitar is truly amazing!
The American Vintage '65 hardshell case is vintage correct and in like-new condition.
This Fender American Vintage '65 Jaguar is a very sweet guitar, made even sweeter by Dale Cress' set-up and "EZ Access Truss Rod Adjust Mod". It'd be a fantastic addition to even the most extensive of guitar collections!
