This Carvin DC727C is in immaculate, like-new condition. It has spent practically all its life in its original factory case, in a smoke-free guitar room

I custom-ordered this guitar from Carvin in 2010. I absolutely love Carvin quality, playability, sound, and style. In fact, I only gig with Carvin guitars. This guitar is too beautiful to gig with, so it has much remained unplayed and in its factory case.
I hate to sell this beauty, but it's time to thin the herd and raise funds for our recording studio.
This guitar is equipped with Carvin's excellent Active/Passive Electronics. As you can imagine, the various controls provide a huge range of tones. Carvin no longer offers this as an option, but you can get it on this guitar!

The Birdseye Maple fretboard is gorgeous and adds a classy, marble-like look to the already stunning, 3-D effect provided by the flame Koa top & headstock.
This guitar was ordered with the "No Top Inlays - Side Dots Only" option. I love that Carvin guitars can be ordered with this option! Fretboards that are free of inlays have an uncluttered and sophisticated look. In fact, all our Carvins have fretboards without top inlays.
Some guitarists worry that playing a guitar, without top inlays, would be difficult. Not so! In fact, you will find the opposite is true! The side dots provide fret position; yet, without the clutter of inlays, it is easier to envision scales in different keys. And, when playing live, you don't look at the fretboard, anyway!
This Carvin DC727 comes with the original, Carvin ABS hardshell case and case candy - including the Dunlop Straplock fittings, truss rod & Floyd Rose adjustment wrenches, and documentation.
As with the guitar, the hardshell case is in immaculate condition. A lot of people believe this the best guitar case ever offered by Carvin. It provides the best of both worlds - the protection of a traditional hardshell case, but with the light weight and handier size of a gig bag. It should be noted that Carvin no longer offers this case!
